USA Functional Fitness Names Dave Bullamore as New Director of Masters Athletics

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 11, 2026 – USA Functional Fitness (USAFF), the national governing body for competitive functional fitness in the United States, today announced the appointment of Dave Bullamore as the new Director of Masters Athletics. Bullamore succeeds Dana Matt, who recently stepped down from the position.

Kason “Mo” Morris, General Manager of USAFF, expressed his confidence in the appointment. “I’ve known Dave for a while now and believe that he has the tools and connections within the Masters community to help advance our mission. Excited to see where he will lead the Federation.” said Morris.

Bullamore brings extensive experience to the role as a competitive masters athlete, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, and CrossFit affiliate co-owner of CrossFit HSP (@crossfithsp). His background is further bolstered by his history of volunteering at premiere fitness events, including the CrossFit Games, Legends Masters Championship, and Fittest of the Coast.

“I appreciate the trust that Mo has in me and am eager to get to work,” said Bullamore. “My focus will be on engaging the Masters community to increase awareness and participation, ultimately helping to field the strongest possible USAFF teams for the iF3 Masters World Championships”.

Bullamore’s first major focus will be the upcoming 2026 iF3 Masters World Championships, which are scheduled to take place in Aruba from October 23-25, 2026.
